Well, here's my blog and as a virgin blogger I must say I am a little nervous.
It's not day one of training though. A few weeks in and the saddle doesn't seem quite like a "razor blade " now. Yellow Pages advert anyone? One more week before the big mileage starts - ouchie! So what's this blog all about? Basically I am taking part in the Scope Rugby World Cup ride from London to Paris. This starts at Twickenham, the home of English Rugby and finishes in Paris in time to see England play South Africa in the RWC 2007. The details are here

For me this has special significance as I also have a minor disability after an accident which means I can't flex my left knee properly. I ride a bike with a modification to the crank. This means I can't generate quite the same power with my left leg as my right. If you want to see what the mod looks like then go to www.highpath.co.uk and look for a swing crank.
